How does food look so delicious in professional photographs?

Because food used for photography is completely manipulated:
  1. Mashed potato is used for photographs of ice-cream: Because, real ice-cream melts under the heat of camera lights
2. Shoe polish is used for the ‘shine’ on hamburger buns
3. Breakfast Cereal
Glue is used in place of milk for photos as milk would make the cereal soggy.
4. Burger Secrets: Sesame seeds are arranged carefully for photos of burgers
The meat/chicken patty is only cooked on one side to make it look fat and tender. The cheese is slightly melted. The bun is photographed from the best angle possible.
5. Lipstick on Strawberry: The perfect redness. Don’t ask me about the taste.
6. Looks yummy! Right? Lets see how it is made.
Err! Not so yummy.
7. Yummy Chicken!
Chicken is often stuffed with paper towels and left undercooked in the photographs to make it look fatter and juicier.
Want the perfect roast on chicken? Shoe Polish might be helpful.
