Krauncha Dweepam contains seven mountains as it's boundaries. Seven rivers are running through these mountains. The Krauncha Parvatham has been cut by Subrahmanyam, to reduce its arrogance on the request of Gods. Kuruvarsham is north boundary to Jambudweepam.
