Why have the Chinese never attacked India since the Sino-Indian war of 1962?

Let’s look at the war statistics of 1962:-
Dead:- Indian: 1383, Chinese: 722.
Wounded:- Indian: 1047, Chinese: 1697.
China attacked India in 1962 and took over Aksai Chin, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
Lets analyze the war. Cuban missile crisis of October 1962 diverted India's main supporters like Russia.
China utilized this time when India's strategic partner was busy and attacked India.
War Stats:-
Here are the war statistics as published in news papers around the globe.
“The war was a standoff between 10,000-20,000 Indian troops and 80,000 Chinese troops.”
Here is a research paper from US army citing the damages on Indian side in 1962 war:-
Indian losses:-
1,383 killed, 1,047 wounded, 1696 missing
Here is a book written by Cheng Feng containing Chinese experiences in 1962 Indo-Chinese war.
“Page 188”:-
As per Chinese governments records, 4897 Indians were killed or wounded, including missing.
722 Chinese died, 1700 wounded.
So, Chinese army suffered more than Indian army in 1962 (even as per Chinese government records which are manually skewed in favor of Chinese) if you account for the fact that Chinese had 80,000 troops participating while India had 10,000 troops.
However, Chinese were ashamed of loosing higher casualities in 1962 war.
Hence,
They have changed it to 8000 Indian casualities. And by 2030, it will be 20,000 Indian casualities.

Remember how China killed one billion Japanese last year:-

1967 war:-
People think that 1967 war never happened.
Here is a book written by Cheng Feng containing Chinese experiences in 1967 Indo-Chinese war.
“Page 188”:-
“There were clashes between India and China on the Sikkim border in 1967.”
So, Chinese government acknowledges the 1967 incident.
War stats:-
Dead:- Indian: 88, Chinese: 340.
Wounded:- Indian: 163, Chinese: 450.
Here is a book by Tan Chung, a renowned military specialist Chinese working in China:-
Page 536:-
"The Chinese were also known to have suffered at least twice as many causalities as Indians in this encounter between Indian and Chinese armed forces."
However, Chinese were ashamed of loosing higher casualities in 1967 war. Hence, they have increased Indian casualities and decreased Chinese:-
Indian army in 1967 suffered 802 causalities in 1967.
In China, only 32 soldiers died in 1967 war.
*Note: Both articles are written by Chinese authors one of which worked for Chinese government.
By 2030, you will see China claiming to kill 200,000 Indians in 1967 war.
That’s why the nation is called “People’s Republic of Claiming”.
So, China did try to attack India in 1967 as mentioned by several users here and lost badly.
Indian army successfully defeated Chinese army in 1967 and took control over Sikkim. This can be seen in both war stats, from India and China (attached above).
Unlike the 1962 wars where USA and Russia were busy fighting another war. China got full strategic support from USA and yet was defeated at ease.
1987 war:-
Indian army surrounded Chinese army at ease. And forced china to surrender. India regained Arunachal Pradesh in 1987.
Indian army was kind enough to force chinese army to get out of Arunachal Pradesh. And less than 10 Chinese were killed.
Lets see how this event is conveyed by Chinese government to its citizens.
As per the artificial history as conveyed by CCP, China gave Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim back to India for peaceful relations. Lol, seriously ? They make up stuff in China. Made in china indeed. Since when did china started giving away land territories to others for free.
Ofcourse, India won the 1967 war and forced chinese army to surrender in 1987 and regained these two regimes. And since then, China doesn't have the balls to come back to these places.
People on quora who have no idea as how wars are played out claim that china has a bigget army, tanks, etc. and can easily take over the place.
Let's see what will happen in a realistic war scenario:-
Road connecting hilly areas of Arunachal Pradesh and the plains looks something like this:-
Indian army controls the road.
In any case of war, Indian army would destroy the road with artillery and it would take 4 years to build it back.
No Chinese tanks or land equipments can cross over to India.
Chinese army if they manage to cross the mountains without any road will be welcomed on the other side by Indian army, air force for death or forced surrender.
Chinese army does have the capability to attack Arunachal Pradesh via missiles. But dah ? Indian missiles can reach any part of china. And I don't think any nation will be brave enough to initiate a missile attack. Putting millions of people at risk.
Chinese navy cannot reach Arunachal Pradesh as it is land locked area.
China just have a marginaly bigger airforce than India.
Number of aircrafts:-
China: 2942, India: 2086.
Number of helicopters:-
China: 802, India: 646.
Attack helicopters:-
China: 200, India: 19.
Attack Aircraft:-
China: 1385, India: 809.
Fighter aircrafts:-
China: 1230, India: 679.
Trainer Aircraft:-
China: 352, India: 318.
Transport Aircraft:-
China: 782, India: 857.
That's hardly any airforce superiority. China just has slightly more air power than India. And any air conflict has 60–40 chance of chinese/Indian victory.
Nevertheless, even if India looses airforce via war with china. China would be left weaker than Cambodia after such conflict. And would be susceptible to war from American side who wouldn't miss out the opportunity and will conquer china . As chinese airforce is marginally better than Indian airforce.
This is why china hasn't been able to take back Arunachal Pradesh. Not because they don't want to. But because they don't have the capability to do that. And rather they have already been thrown out of Arunachal Pradesh by Indian army.
